Firehouse Woods 5/17/26
Lyn J, Allyn P, Steve & Linda B, and Lori & Steve VK gathered on a beautiful Sunday morning for a tour of Firehouse Woods. The woods did not disappoint! 48 species were sighted, with many of them being too busy getting enough to eat to worry about us being there. Muller Field Station 5/15/26
Greetings, Our collaboration with FLCC's Wander & Wonder program was a success! Our two groups of approximately equal numbers convened at the new fireplace and after an introduction by Maura Sullivan, Station Director we walked down to the boat launch area on Honeoye Inlet where two Baltimore Orioles got into a kerfuffle over whose territory it was. But that did not worry the Spotted Sandpiper that greeted us and showed us how to dance. We also saw a Hairy Woodpecker enter a
