Greetings all, Our group of ten (Steve B., Allyn P., Lori & Steve V., Sue S-V., Holly N., Lyn J., Kevin A., Leslie P., Rich R.) enjoyed a successful morning this past Sunday. We met at the end of Morgan Rd. in Savannah, NY. Looking at the parcel info for Wayne County, it appears that most of the land there, including the places we visited, are owned by NYSDEC. MAC Field Trip 8/1/2026
8 members arrived at the MAC in Savannah on a nice slightly hazy day to start. Allyn, Lyn, Steve & Lori, Annie, Holly, Linda & I. We heard and/or saw 37 species for the day between the trails at the MAC and Colvin Marsh across the road. The newly completed and expertly constructed, 2 tiered observation deck is a wonderful addition to this place. EBS Members Picnic 7/25/26
Lynn Donaldson generously invited EBS to meet for the annual picnic at his cottage on Keuka Lake as he has for many years. Nancy was at the ready to transport food, gear, and people down to lake level, and up again at the end. The weather was perfect and of course, birding made up a lot of the conversations going on.
