Eight members (Steve & Lori, Leslie, Allyn, Inga, Carol, Linda and I) enjoyed a nice day with usual more birds heard than seen. Acadian Flycatcher were heard in two locations and Ovenbirds were regular vocalists but invisible. But 30 species on a July day isn't too bad. Friends, Eaton Birding Society's Canadice Lake South Trail Field Trip was well attended with 10 members attending: Steve and Lori V., Steve and Linda B. Nine of us met on Armitage Road (Yang Y, Leslie P, Allyn P, Lynn J, Steve & Linda B and Steve & Lori VK) on a cool, partly cloudy Saturday morning. As we walked up and down the road, we picked up quite a few birds in a little over an hour, hearing more than we saw.
