Middlesex-Naples Trail 4/18/26
Note: This Photo was not from this field trip At 8:00AM, nine birders (SteveB, LindaB, KateG and guest Annie, JonG, SaralindaH, HollyN, AllynP, and LindaZ) gathered at 7862 Parish Road, Naples. We birded two sections of this trail…to the south and then to the north. We heard and saw both of our target birds: Wilson’s Snipe and Rusty Blackbird! Beechwood SP 3/12/26
We ended up with two start times due to my changing the location and time of the field trip. Allyn, Kate, Steve and I arrived at 8:00 and were treated to watching a beaver swim across the creek, get out on the bank and groom itself. Kashong CA 3/28/26
Seven EBS members met at the Kashong Conservation Area parking lot. Just before beginning our birdwatching walk we met Mitch Wilber, the chairman of the Kashong Conservation Area Committee who was there updating the information board. He asked if he could take our picture next to the new sign for their upcoming newsletter.
