An enthusiastic group gathered at the College on a lovely warm Fall day - Carol K, Saralinda H, Holly N, Jill (guest), Kevin A, Lori V, Allyn P, Lyn J, Anne S. It was a nice day for a walk, except for the hungry, persistent mosquitos that went after our faces, ears, necks! We did encounter several pockets of small passerines but seeing them was another matter altogether. Our undisputed highlight was the Black-throated Green Warbler, showing us a yellow face, brownish back, 2 wing bars and white belly framed with faint dark streaking. Lyn Jacobs
