EBS Members Picnic 7/25/26

Lynn Donaldson generously invited EBS to meet for the annual picnic at his cottage on Keuka Lake as he has for many years. Nancy was at the ready to transport food, gear, and people down to lake level, and up again at the end. The weather was perfect and of course, birding made up a lot of the conversations going on.

Lori brought a list of the 11 endemic bird species of the continental US. The challenge was to count how many you had seen. Lynn came out on top with 9 and so won the prize of the day.

All of the food shared was delicious and a few unique contributions. The 'Shellbark hickory pie' was a fine addition to the spread. But then it was a challenge not to overeat... I lost that battle.

A good day, and a fun group to be with as always!
