It's not our birdiest field trip of the year but never the less it os always a delight to see the Short-eared owls in the fields on Johnson Road. They never disappoint! Nine of us gathered on the roadside on a cold but mostly calm and snow-free late afternoon. We were treated to some great looks at stationary owls and harriers as well as beautiful views as the birds took flight to hunt the field. Those present: Steve B., Allyn P., Lyn J., Sue Y., Hope G., Rich R., Matthew K., Carol K., and Steve and Lori VK.

Thank you Lynn - we so appreciate you keeping our list! As always it was a pleasure to have someone new join us. Nice to meet you Sue, and I cannot forget to thank Hope for the delicious cookies!

Hope to see you all on the next trip.

Lori
