North end of Seneca Lake 02/15/26

On this fine winter day, ten EBS members met at Seneca Lake to find a nice selection of waterfowl. The calm winds and misty sun added to an Arctic vibe with ice floes barely moving. The bird of the day would be Common Goldeneye displaying in the sunshine - throwing their heads back. The Redheads and scaups were very far away when we first arrived, but later came closer.

After we parted, Linda and Steve and Kevin went to Nielson Rd and observed geese, pigeons, 1 dove, eagles, horned larks and 300 Snow Buntings.
