After a slow start at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center, our group of nine members moved to the Park. We were then able to identify the scaup and redheads rafting together. Forming their own group, Common Goldeneye were also observed diving and displaying. At the sprayground, we encountered 2 white gulls that were thought to be Glaucous Gulls and that is what I reported initially. However, after doing some online research, I had to conclude that I cannot be confident that I can distinguish between Iceland and Glaucous so I revised the report to: white winged gull sp. Note: If you are a recipient of this shared list, it does NOT mean you have to revise your list, as well.
