13 birders turned out for this venture. Holly, Kevin, Dave & Joan, Jon & Sara, Allyn, Pete, Kate, Kathy, Hope, Carol and myself. Make that 15 as we met Andy and Anna while we were out there on the trail.

The weather was great with clear skies, cool but warming up. This section of the trail system is somewhat unique with a fairly extensive side loop off the main railbed, and that runs closer to Flint Creek.  The birding adventure started with a singing Blue-headed Vireo. Fleeting glimpses of that were the best most of us could manage. Robins were in abundance to be sure, but we garnered a nice diversity of species with a few other FOY finds. Brown-headed cowbirds were regulars for the day, and Kinglets are always challenging entertainment. A Warbling Vireo reminded us of the many more to come soon
